GFG Style, a company founded by the renowned designers Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, dedicated to creating One-of-One vehicles, has unveiled its first creation (commissioned by Mexican car collector Carlos Peralta and his sons Juan Carlos and Nicolas), the Peralta S.
The presentation took place at the prestigious Pastejé Automotive Invitational in Mexico on March 22, 2025. This mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car pays homage to the iconic 1971 Maserati Boomerang, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, but with a futuristic and bold vision.
Monolithic and Innovative Design
The Peralta S stands out for its monolithic design, where the mirror-polished aluminum body seamlessly blends with the glazed surfaces. This feature creates a unique visual effect, making the car appear as a single sculpted piece.
- Body: Entirely handcrafted from mirror-polished aluminum.
- Silhouette: A continuous line from front to rear, with flat and continuous surfaces viewed from above.
- Details: Front spoiler blade, rear diffuser, and side skirts in exposed carbon fiber.
- Lighting: Hidden headlights, with a "shadow light" effect at the rear when lit.
"Dome" Opening and Cabin Access
One of the most striking features of the Peralta S is the absence of traditional doors. Access to the cabin is through the lifting of a single "dome." The side windows can be opened independently via a "gull-wing" movement.
The Peralta S has a dual soul; when turned off, it looks like a monolith; when turned on, its physiognomy changes with the rear spoiler lifting and the upper and lower vents opening for better ventilation.
- The body is constructed in three distinct parts: hood, mirrored glazed central section, and rear.
- Chassis and mechanics derived from the Maserati MC20, maintaining the original technical characteristics.
- Technical collaboration with MAT - Manifattura Automobili Torino.
70s-Inspired Interior
The interior of the Peralta S pays homage to the innovative materials of the 70s, with metallic chrome-effect leather covering the seats, dashboard, and door panels.
- Interior design with functional shapes.
- Car controls integrated into the steering wheel.
- Ergonomic and wraparound seats.
- Center console with innovative solutions.
Homage to the Past, Vision of the Future
Fabrizio Giugiaro describes the Peralta S as a car with a "typically 70s attitude," enriched with references to the past but reinterpreted in a modern way. The Peralta S is a tribute to the legacy of Giorgetto Giugiaro, particularly the Maserati Boomerang, and a vision of the future of automotive design.
